"You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" TECH CREW
Description
Happiness is great musical theatre! With charm, wit, and heart, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang as they learn what it means to be content with the life God has given. This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, is the ideal first show for those who would like to do a musical. Musical numbers include "My Blanket and Me," "My New Philosophy," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Beethoven Day," and "Happiness." Guaranteed to entertain audiences of all ages!
Technical Crew is open to students in 8th-12th grade. Although, if you beleive your 7th grader is ready for this responsibility, we will consider that on a case by case basis. Students registering for the Technical Crew do not need to audition.
PLEASE NOTE:
All rehearsals and performances from February 20th-March 1 are mandatory for cast and crew. If your student has a conflict with any one of these dates, we suggest that you consider registering for a different show. If your student has their heart set on Charlie Brown and they choose to proceed, please make this a priority for your family as it is very hard to produce a show with excellence without a practiced tech crew.
Please see this rehearsal schedule to ensure your family is available for tech/show week! Parents of students in the technical crew do not need to attend the parent meeting.
